Full Time Court—Full Time Effort
I will devote my full- time efforts to serving as your Judge of Probate. There will be no other matters that will take priority over my duties as judge. The new consolidated court is required to be open for 40 hours per week and needs someone who is willing to devote themselves full-time to the position. Some judges in other courts have kept up an outside legal practice even after being elected, but I will not.
Accessibility is a Priority
Because of the state-mandated consolidation, three towns are losing their local probate courts. I am sympathetic to the inconvenience this causes to those citizens, and intend to have court hearings and possibly court office hours in each of those towns on a regular basis.
Your Probate Questions Answered
I look forward to providing information sessions for residents and local organizations to answer their questions about how the probate process works. My view is that I am here to serve you as your judge and should be available not only to run the court and decide cases, but also to provide information that is helpful to you.
Feedback is Welcomed
As your judge, I will welcome any comments and suggestions you have as to how the court can serve you better. It will be my job to serve the citizens and that goal will be uppermost in my mind at all times.
A Smooth Transition to a Regional Court
My organizational experience, leadership skills and attention to detail will be an asset as the four courts are consolidated into one. I will do my best to accomplish the transition quickly and with the least disruption to our services.
