Elect Jennifer Berkenstock Judge of Probate

Welcome to the Berkenstock for Probate Committee Website

Serving the people of East Hampton, East Haddam, Portland and Marlborough

Why I’m Running
My career has been dedicated to serving the elderly, bereaved and vulnerable in our communities  who need the services the Probate Court provides.  As your Probate Judge, I look forward to using my experience and enthusiasm for Probate law to provide my neighbors with the best service possible.

Full-Time Court = Full Time Judge
Four towns are combining their part-time courts into one court after the election. I am committed to serving our citizens full-time and processing all cases quickly and efficiently.

15 Years of Probate Experience
Having served as conservator, fiduciary and guardian in area Probate Courts, as well as representing incapacitated children and the elderly who could not afford an attorney, I am the candidate with the most experience to handle complex and sensitive Probate cases.

Integrity
Protecting your rights and ensuring your wishes are carried out as you planned is my priority.

Compassion
Your right to privacy and need for compassion is my utmost concern.  I understand the grief of losing someone and the complexities of settling their affairs.

Your Neighbor
I have lived in East Hampton for 22 years, raised three children here and have been active in church, school and community activities. Many of my friends, family and clients live and work in East Hampton, East Haddam, Portland and Marlborough.
